HubSpot Content Hub
- Key Features: Website hosting, website building and expansion, data reporting, optimization for search engines and mobile viewers
- You Need It If: Past marketing/sales efforts didn’t prioritize your website as a revenue-generating tool; your company is outgrowing its current site or host
HubSpot Content Hub (formerly CMS Hub) pushes the limits of what a traditional CMS (content management system) can do. Content Hub makes it easier for developers to build a website -- and non-developers to manage it -- with SEO (search engine optimization) and UX in mind.
Need to create personalized content for different segments of your audience? Piece of cake. Want to get your company website found more easily online? HubSpot's tools don't require decades of technical expertise. There are even AI tools to help those lacking content creation skills.
Best of all, thanks to seamless integrations with other HubSpot tools, you can streamline your marketing efforts and track site performance in the same place.

HubSpot Sales Hub is like a Swiss army knife of sales tools -- without the Swiss cheese holes you'll find in competing solutions. From organizing your pipeline to automating personalized emails, it makes customer relationship management efficient in a way an Excel spreadsheet never could. Once you start digging into tracked evidence of specific leads opening specific emails and clicking on specific links, it feels like a cheat code.
Fits for HubSpot Sales include teams that need a customizable CRM space or are sick of hunting for missing records or answering the same emails repeatedly. Bogged-down teams of any size can benefit from freeing up time to do what they do best -- go out and sell.

HubSpot Operations Hub
- Key Features: Syncing third-party apps in one place, customer data cleaning, process automation
- You Need It If: The company lacks organization and efficiency; you need to free up time to devote to important tasks you can’t automate
At first glance, it's tough to see what makes the youngest of the five hubs unique from its siblings. We'll let HubSpot explain Operations Hub in its own words:
"The new hub is designed to align companies around clean and connected data, to keep processes efficient at scale, and to empower operations teams to spend less time on reactive data tasks and more time on business strategy."
Choose Operations Hub if you find company growth in a holding pattern due to lost deals, cancellations, and other churn. The sooner you start using Operations Hub, the more easily you can untangle sloppy processes and needlessly complicated systems. Even if you don't work in an operations department, HubSpot can help anyone who must answer for:
- Disconnect in tools & their usage
- Inefficient processes
- Messy data
- Poor transparency
HubSpot Operations Tiers

Professional-tier users can schedule workflow triggers and view data trends, health, and AI recommendations. Enterprise users gain the powers of custom datasets and objects, as well as a UX testing sandbox.
HubSpot Commerce Hub
- Key Features: Create quotes, invoices, and payment links for one-time and recurring business.
- You Need It If: You're using too many tools and too much time to track payments and organize customer info.
HubSpot users have longed for a fully featured tool for B2B e-commerce. In late 2021, the software giant released its HubSpot Payments tool, which got users partway there. Now, HubSpot Payments is a feature under the umbrella of the new Commerce Hub -- a full, separate platform.
This wider toolkit can get you paid faster by streamlining your opportunity-to-revenue process. Core features include:
- Quotes
- Invoices
- Payment links
- Subscription management
As usual, this Hub integrates with HubSpot’s overall CRM right out of the box. Commerce Hub is also usable with your existing payments gateway and accounting tools via QuickBooks and Stripe integrations.
That second one is especially important to look into, as you'll be able to choose between Stripe and HubSpot's native tool for processing payments: Note that not all subscribers can use HubSpot processing -- more on that below
HubSpot Commerce Tiers
Trick question! There aren't any true "tiers" for Commerce Hub.
- Monthly starting price: Free for all users
- Notable fees:
- For each transaction using HubSpot payment processing -- 2.9% per credit/debit, 0.8% (capped at $10) per ACH, 0.5% platform fee.
- For transactions using Stripe processing, keep your current credit/debit and ACH fees; 0.75% platform fee
- Key Tier Difference: Some advanced features require subscription to another HubSpot Hub.

HubSpot Bundles
For many companies, one HubSpot feature or service won’t solve all their problems. It’s more common to use multiple Hubs for a closed-loop, single source of truth for performance.
One aspect of HubSpot’s services that deserves kudos is the insane amount of integration between each platform. The five systems “talk to" and share information with each other to help users see how marketing activities impact sales outcomes.
There are four HubSpot CRM Suite bundles available, along with a custom option. These include the respective tier of all five Hubs, with a major discount for the three paid tiers.
HubSpot Tier |
Bundled Cost |
Cost Without Bundling |
Free | Free | Free |
Starter | $30 (new user) / $45 (current user) | $95 |
Professional | $1,600 | $2,196 |
Enterprise | $5,000 | $9,200 |
Create-a-Bundle | Varies | N/A |
If you have dire needs for certain Hubs but would gain little value from another, don't fear. The Create-a-Bundle feature lets you combine multiple Hubs from different tiers.
HubSpot Features -- Getting a Taste
To sum each HubSpot software platform up in a few words:
